Keep You Much Longer

Finals finals.. not that hectic IF....

you study throughout the year, 

you overcome your feelings as time is nearing, 

you had great study group, 

you had discipline in your studies,

you had great friends to hang out with, 

you had a rival and a friend at the same time, 

you know to look for after exam 

and 

you smile a lot....

here is a story.. it is obvious not written by me!!

HOW DO YOU BUILD A BETTER WORLD????

How do you build a better world? that is the question that  has puzzled mankind for centuries. Many things have been tried. Some have helped and some haven't. I think, though, that I was given a part of the answer just the other day.

My brother had just cleaned out his closet. It was something I needed to do as well even though I was afraid I might get lost in there and not find my way back out. When he brought over some of the extra clothes to my Dad's house, he asked me to look through them and see if there was anything I could use. I ended up just picking out a few pair of short pants to replace my worn out cut off jeans. I couldn't see keeping more cloths that I didn't need. I volunteered instead to take the rest of them over to the Goodwill store and donate them for him.

I loaded his clothes in the back of my car and then decided to brave the clutter of my own closet to add to his donation. It was a scary sight opening that door. The mess was tremendous.Still, the thought of doing something good for another spurred me on and kept me going. It took a long time, but I got it done. I was left with a much emptier closet, but a much fuller heart. As I carried my own bags of clothes to add to my brothers I couldn't help but smile. It was then that I saw how we all can go about building a better world.

We can do it one kind act of a time. 

We can do it one gift of charity at a time. 

We can do it one shared smile at a time. 

We can do it one uplifting word at a time. 

We can do it one heartfelt hug at a time. 

We can even do it one donated shirt at a time. 

We can build a better world with each act of love we share and good thing we do. 

We can do it with helpful hands and caring hearts. 

We can do it with cheerful spirits and joyous souls. 

We can do it knowing that God and His angels are smiling upon us and helping us every step of the way.

Half Of My Heart

Have you got a feeling that you want to sing along to a song being played in the car or radio or music player or anywhere else? 

Especially those catchy catchy or "you like" or "use to like" or "you know" or there are too many types of types of song...

but anyway songs..

they are the best thing in life too.. 

no matter what kind of songs Soul, R&B, Blue, Jazz, Rock, Metal, Hip Hop, Pop, Country, Religious, Classical, A Cappella, Techno, Dance or Other?? it will continue to play in our head and eventually we start to move our mouth, legs, hand, head or even started to dance.. 

it is not a bad thing i mean its a good thing cause sometimes song can change a person mood..

lets say you are listening to happy songs you started to be happy and started to sing along with the song or just go nuts cause later you need the mood to face certain kind of situation or maybe its your free time but you know that by listening to happy songs you have a positive thinking or wanted to be happy..

(lalalalalalalala o(^.^)o)

lets say you are listening to emotional songs which can lead you to depressing moments but you still sing along cause its nice to hear knowing it will break your heart for every single word they say it reminds you of those times that you were "happy" or you can't have or regretted..

(yes i know i'm bad >:D)

lets say you are listening to techno or metal with the right environment and company you started to lose control of yourself and the next thing you know its not a very nice thing to remember or maybe its an experience..

(i will be like this ("=.=") when it happened)

let say you are listening to study mood song (YES!! there are study mood song) you are actually switching on your nerd mode and face the book to study and not "facebook"!!! or read something to gain knowledge/leisure..

(study~study~study~study~.. why am i blogging????)

lets say you are listening to instrumental song especially piano, you are preparing to go to sleep........

speaker is a wonderful thing

i know its troublesome to bring it around especially when your lap top speaker is spoil due to constantly blasting without any chance of soften it down..

speaker is like stepping up for someone when he/she is helpless or speechless or "i got your back, don't worry" kind of situation,

but after that don't ask for payment la,

you will only spoil the moment where he/she looks up to you,

(except for the fact it cant be carried around wherever we go)

i remember 1 time during basketball,

i keep on thinking that our team is gona lose for sure cause the opponent looks bigger, faster and sharper,

looks only you know,

if looks can change my mood of playing then i really got no mood for the game already,

just waiting to lose only,

and i'm tired,

but i keep asking,

"can win ah? can win ah?"

of course don't want to lose face la,

ask for the sake of confirming only,

at that time i remember Jin Ee, Zi Peng, Edric, Jason and me (correct me if i'm wrong)

the opponent was strangers,

but they look better than us..

and i ask Jin Ee at that time,

his reply was

"PASS ME THE BALL!!!"

i pass lor..

he ran from half court and put in the ball.....

i............. smile............. in awe

coming back he said,

"loser"

at all of us.

then that's it la,

i semangated and start playing properly,

we tapau them,

i'm sure somebody have done that to you and you have done that to others as well, without realizing it,

so be a speaker! (metaphorically)

don't be a spoil speaker,

be a speaker that shared strength with whoever you are plug in to and not to those you are familiar with only and that way you are everyones best friends..

Have i shared with you how wonderful God is?

well...

this was a long long time ago

i was still a little boy

to be precise

i'm a timid, shy and constantly having thoughts but afraid to share them

i'm introvert that's what they say

i'm not mature

i'm slow

i just like to play

i don't like to worry about other people

the world resolve around me and just me

i use to think "its not my business so i don't care"

thennnnn...

until a moment of time

i want to open up..

i went to sunday school see other kids playing around while i sit at the back just observing and not mixing around like other kids are doing..

then when they say "lets pray"

i don't know what to do until i see everyone bow down their head, put their hands together and close their eyes

i followed..

after they say "amen"

i don't know how i somehow understood that and open my eyes..

when its the next time they pray i tried asking something that i wouldn't do

"Lord, its my first time praying, can i ask for something?, i want friends, please. thank you amen."

the next thing i know.. i'm back to my usual self again

until a few years..

where suddenly people came in...

at 1st they started knocking

*knock* *knock* *knock*

"hi i'm ___ from ____ how are you?"

*no response*

*silence*

*smile*

then they start pulling

"aunty aunty can Ben come out to the field and play with us?"

"i'll wake him up, wait just a moment ya"

"BEN come la lets go"

"alright alright"

and we cycle to the field and start playing catch or just chit chatting

then i learn to do the same

*knock* *knock* *knock*

"hi i'm Ben from 3 blocks away from where you are standing right now, how are you?"

*no response*

*silence*

*smile*

God answered my prayer

it doesn't matter how long it takes it is still answered

look up, look how vast is the sky

look down and your view is narrowed

difference?

sky = God created = bigger than you = bigger than your problem + it is wonderful = calm

view narrowed = not clear + no direction = more problems = stress

oh oh and don't forget toooo
